The assignment was to create a Limited Edition CD Package for one of our favorite bands. I chose Godspeed You Black Emperor's Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To God. I had recently seen them live at the Bowery Ballroom and they had merchandise with a hammer on it and mentioned something about it in the middle of the show. It went something along the lines of, "If everyone had a hammer we could march up to the White House and tear it down brick by brick."
What you see here is a scan of the front of the box. It contains a real hammer inside a box made from a log. The hammer says HOPE on it. I also put together 4 mini CD's and designed envelopes for them that I put inside the box. I'm working on getting nice photos of the whole project but it is in Texas right now and could not get it here in time for the launch of this website.
