In my Lithography class at SVA with Charles Yoder we were told to create as many prints as we could during the semester. I wanted to do something purely experimental and started this print with a found ornament which I turned into a pattern. The blue image is a section taken from my 9-11 Tribute painting. The black is an illustration by my friend Paul from Ex-Robot. He's one of the best Illustrators I know personally. All 3 of these layers were printed on a Lithograph press and I later added a little something extra to each print. In this one I used interference red splotches. Unfortunately it's very hard to see in this scan but that's what the faint white markings are suppose to be. 17 prints were made. Some look like this and others have red-orange markings, florescent yellow splattered dots, dark blue splatters, or a mixture of these elements. They're all signed, titled and numbered.
