The assignment was to paint something you had dreamed of recently. It was given to us shortly after the 9-11 attack.
I witnessed the attack from the shoreline of Pavonia/Newport in Jersey City, New Jersey so naturally 9-11 was on my mind. I've always thought of the attack as a horrible thing but try to view it in a positive way. It was a moment of massive change. This world will never be the same again. I like to think that history will prove it to be a horrible yet enlightening event.
Unfortunately I have no idea what happened to this piece and I don't have a high resolution record of it so prints can't be made at this time. If I find anything in the future I will make them available to you.
